Wish I hadn’t have fallen of the wagon a little earlier in this week. Cigarette cravings are back with a vengeance, I just see it as there isn’t any point losing weight and getting fitter if I am going to ingest poisons. Chewing nicotine gum like a mad man today.

I went out for the day yesterday to a “Country comes to the City” day in North Sydney. Nice day out (but a bit lost on me being a country person anyway lol), my daughter enjoyed Dorothy the dinosaur and Wags the dog. Free pony rides were the biggest hit with her, she is horse mad. I got a little too much sun and feel like dirt today, I’m going to have to drink loads of water. Did a bit of walking around yesterday so counted that as my exercise. Back on the treadmill today!
I still feel like I am losing weight. I will conquer it.

Today’s been a pretty sleepy day, went for a trek to the local bunnings and have wasted the day playing with my daughter and even had an afternoon snooze together. It’s just took damn hot to do much, Melbourne yesterday got a massive 40C. Rare for them. Must be mid to late 30’s here for sure. Not much else new, got a few emails from Rob at www.formerfatguy.com , I have bought a link over on his site and he gave me some welcome blog advice. Including the possibility of changing my name from Fat Man to be more positive, I think he has a point there. Something to decide shortly. Cheers Rob. I haven’t had a go on the treadmill today, will definately get 20 or 30 minutes in later tonight when it cools down. Has been some hot days here this week, good ol’ Sydney.
I did go to the shops and walked around quite alot. 3 floors of commercialised madness, so I would say that counts for about 45 minutes of solid walking, not including time spent flipping through design mags and lining up with the other zombies on the escalator.
I tried out the vegetarian sausages tonight, along with a garden salad and some steamed asparagus (I love the stuff). The sausages were great, whenever I go for a BBQ next time I will be grabbing some along with my other favourite, Baby Octopus

I’ve tried out the hot dogs, they are amazingly good and similar to the meat product in taste & texture. Impressed by everything apart from the price (about twice the price of their meat cousins). But I will be trying to include more in my diet from now on when possible.

I’ve decided to stop labeling posts by days, do the math yourselves lol
I’ve been smoking again today, I cracked, back to the gum tonight and after the gum has gone it’s time for cold turkey. Gum is great to begin with, but with time it makes the addiction linger.

So far today I am working away on stuff for work. I plan on doing some treadmill time in lunch. Still on track with meal plan. I have been reading alot about artifical sweeteners, I use them and drink diet soft drink (soda for Americans). I have read alot about “Stevia“, it’s a herb used to sweeten things and by the sounds a thousand times safer. I will have to aquire some.

I’ve been checking out a few other weight loss blogs around the net, some I’ve found impressive and a wealth of information. Today’s was alot like yesterday, I got my morning walk in and I am really starting to get a kick out of them. It’s so hard to write about yourself lol I’ll get the hang of it, give me time
I will give the treadmill 20 minutes later once it cools down a bit.
